Open reference book with a bracketed definition, illustrating the terms of service for whatisreputationmanagement.com

Terms of service

These terms govern your use of whatisreputationmanagement.com, published by Aurawave Inc. of Orlando, Florida. The short version: this is a reference site, it is free to read, and nothing on it is legal advice or a promise about your situation. Submitting the audit form asks a firm to look at your case; it does not create an engagement or a lawyer relationship. Below are the rules for using the site, what you may do with the content, the limits on our liability, and the law that governs all of it. If you disagree with any of this, the remedy is simply not to use the site. Effective 19 August 2026.

Accepting these terms

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. If you use it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for that organisation.

What this site is, and what it is not

This is an editorial reference on reputation management, published by Aurawave Inc., 1317 Edgewater Dr #4807, Orlando, FL 32804.

Nothing on this site is legal advice. Reading it does not create a lawyer and client relationship, and it does not create any other professional relationship. Reputation, defamation, privacy, and records law vary by state and by country and turn on facts we do not know. If your situation is serious, take it to a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction.

Nothing on this site is a promise about your outcome. We publish general explanations and cited sources. What is achievable in a specific case depends on the platform, the law, the facts, and other people's decisions.

The material can go out of date. Statutes are amended, platform policies change, and the AI section in particular covers an area that is moving quickly. We correct what we find, and we do not warrant that every page is current at the moment you read it.

These terms cover These terms do not cover
Your use of this website and its pages Any paid engagement with The Reputation.org
The audit request form and what submitting it means The separate agreement that would govern paid work
What you may and may not do with the content here The terms of any third-party site linked from here
The limits of what is published on this site Legal rights you have under laws that cannot be waived

The free reputation audit

The audit offered on this site is performed by The Reputation.org, which is operated by Aurawave Inc.

Submitting the form is a request. It does not create an engagement, it does not oblige either side to proceed, and it does not oblige you to buy anything. If you go on to hire The Reputation.org, that work is governed by a separate written agreement between you and that firm, and these terms do not describe it. [TO CONFIRM: whether that engagement agreement should be linked or referenced by name here.]

What you submit is handled as described in the privacy policy. Contact preferences are described in the SMS terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the site for any unlawful purpose;
  • submit another person's personal information without a lawful basis for doing so;
  • submit anything false or misleading in the audit form;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its forms, or its infrastructure;
  • scrape, harvest, or bulk-copy the site, or use automated systems to submit form entries;
  • reproduce substantial portions of the site as your own content.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you send us. By sending it, you give Aurawave Inc. and The Reputation.org permission to use it for the purpose you sent it for: reviewing your situation, preparing your audit, and responding to you. You confirm you have the right to send us what you send.
